How To Make A Shaker Box

Supplies Needed:

2 pieces - 3" x 3" cardstock

1 piece - 3" x 3" Clear plastic, transparency, or page protector will work too!

Shaker box filler this can be anything, seed/micro beads, punchies, confetti, and in this example we used translucent snow that you sprinkle on your nativity scene at Christmas time!

Double sided foam tape that can be found at your local hardware store

Tape Runner

And in this example we used a sizzix die but if you don't have a machine that's ok other things will work and we will get to that in a minute!

Take one of your squares of cardstock and make a window in it. Here we have used a sizzix die but if you don't have a sizzix you can use a large punch, a Coluzzle template, or you can even just cut out another square using a craft knife and self healing mat. You want to make sure to leave enough paper around the edges to hide your adhesive.

Now on the back side of your square use your tape runner to apply adhesive, and then attach your clear square.

Now take your second cardstock square and apply your double sided foam tape all around the edges. Then put in some of your shaker filler.

Then simply place the first square on top and poof you have a shaker box! You can also embellish the top as desired!
