These are things that you can find around your own home to help you in your scrapbooking!

Cookie Cutters: These can be used as templates for paper piecing.

Plates/Cups/Glasses/Bowls: These can be used to make just about any size circle you will ever need.

Wax Paper: This can be used on sticky punches & scissors, just fold the wax paper a few times and then punch it out.

Tin Foil: This can be used to sharpen your punches & scissors, just fold the tin foil a few times and then punch it out.

Dryer Sheets: Tired of your embossing powders sticking to your tidy tray? Just wipe the tidy tray down with an unused dryer sheet to eliminate static cling.

Wire: Does your husband weld? Take a peek in the garage! Copper wire for mig welding works great to create wire designs.

Sand Paper: Can be used to create a distressed look by simply rubbing it on your paper.

Other things found in the garage: Washers, hinges, string & twine, sand paper, some even use dry wall tape as mesh! Just color it with ink pads or markers. Just use your acidic pen to test for acid on some of these items if you are worried about it being acid free.

Tweezers: Tired of getting finger prints on your clear stickers? Got the tweezers out of the bathroom and use them to pick up/peel your stickers...no more finger prints :)

Q-Tips & Cotton Balls: These work great for chalking with.

Make up brushes: You can usually buy the cheap kits of make up brushes at your local dollar store, the one that is made for mascara and also the eyebrow brush both work great for cleaning that fine detail on your rubber stamps.
